In early 2012, the Bulgarian company known as Daks-96 reached collaborating intents with LandGlass. Through this agreement, LandGlass made its first sale in Bulgaria. Soon after, LandGlass completed the flat and bent Bi-directional glass tempering furnace manufacturing and shipped it to the site on the contractual delivery day. However, due to the dispute the customer was involved in with the local electric company at the time, their plant could not get power supply. As a result, the installation of the equipment was delayed without a schedule.
In 2014, two years after the delivery, the customer finally reached an agreement with the local electric supplier. As soon as LandGlass learned of this, a team of installation engineers was immediately dispatched to Daks-96 in Bulgaria for an on-site installation and debugging of the equipment. The tempering furnace was soon ready for acceptance inspection by the customer. The equipment Mr. Valentin Zdravkov of Daks-96 ordered was LandGlass' JetConvection series top convection tempering furnace. By its specifications, this type of furnace can only temper Low-E (E=0.02) glass. Thanks to the efforts made by the engineers of LandGlass during the installation and debugging, the actual inspection indicated that the furnace was able to temper Low-E (E=0.01) glass. Mr. Valentin Zdravkov was delighted by the result. “This is the best glass tempering furnace I’ve ever seen,” he applauded LandGlass.
At the 2014 expo in Germany, Mr. Valentin Zdravkov came to LandGlass' booth in person. While praising LandGlass' display at the event, he was also looking forward to working with LandGlass again in the future.
